OEMS introduces area rep

Andy Daniel will serve large portion of CSEMS

 .

The Virginia Office of EMS has introduced Andy Daniel as the newest
member of the OEMS team, specifically EMS Field Representative within
the Division of Regulation and Compliance. Andy comes to OEMS from the
Virginia State Police where his last assignment was with the Counter
Terrorism Criminal Interdiction Team in the Shenandoah Valley. Andy has
law enforcement experience and approximately 14 years of EMS experience.
Andy has served in the Woodstock Volunteer Rescue Squad actively for
many years fulfilling every position, including Rescue Squad Captain,
and currently the President of the organization. Andy presented at the
Virginia EMS Symposium in 2007 and has served the Lord Fairfax Region as
an ALS instructor for several years. 

Andy will assume the service areas formerly serviced by Chris Corbin,
but also will include the counties of Bath and Rockbridge to include the
City of Harrisonburg. Heather Phillips will assume responsibility for
the counties of Madison and Greene effective today.

22664. As soon as OEMS has office and fax numbers for Andy, they will be
