Skills drill policy revised	
Passes to be given to providers completing skill stations after being
drawn in the lottery	
 

In November 2007, the Medical Control Review Committee moved to revise
skills drill guidelines to award passes to providers that are required
to complete a skill evaluation station.  The pass can be used in the
same calendar year to exempt the provider from taking another skill
evaluation station if they are drawn by the lottery again.  The skills
drill policy has been revised to include guidelines for the issuance and
usage of passes.  The new guidelines will be effective at the February
2008 skills drills.
