 Pediatric International Trauma Life Support
The mission of PITLS is "to decrease death and disability due to trauma
by educating prehospital and in hospital providers in the care of
injured infants and children." This class is being sponsored as a
fundraiser for the PVCC/UVA Paramedic Program. It is open to all
prehospital BLS and ALS providers, RNs and other health professionals
who care for children. Students must be BTLS/ITLS or PHTLS certified, as
this class builds on that knowledge. This course is intense with lots of
hands-on practice.
