Substance Shock - Anaphylaxis and Overdoses
The human body reacts differently to external substances. They may be
harmless to some people but cause life threatening anaphylactic
reactions in others. Other agents have negative effects on the body's
systems. Review the pathophysiology and treatment of anaphylaxis. Look
at the wide spectrum of adverse reactions as the human body struggles to
cope with harmful substances.
