CSEMS Awarded EZ-IO Grant	
	

 <http://www.vidacare.com/> The Central Shenandoah EMS Council received
notification from the Virginia Office of EMS that the grant for the EZ-IOs
was approved and funded at 100%.  The Council has placed the order for the
EZ-IOs and expects delivery within a couple weeks.  The Council will serve
as the distribution point for the EZ-IOs.  Once the EZ-IOs are received, a
distribution plan will be announced.


Sovereign Medical, the distributor of the EZ-IOs, will be arranging EZ-IO
training for the region.  Train-the-trainer programs will be scheduled so
that agencies may send representatives to be trained on the use of the
device and in turn trainer providers at their respective agencies.  Once
dates for the training sessions are set, announcements will be distributed.
