[CSEMSmail] 2007 Virginia EMS Symposium

Yesterday, the 2007 Virginia EMS Symposium committee met to begin planning
for next year's symposium.  It is now time to submit your proposals to teach
at the 2007 Virginia EMS Symposium.  Likewise, if you have a topic you would
like included in next year's symposium, or know of a great instructor you
would like to see teach in 2007, now is the time to let us know!
 
The 2007 Virginia EMS Symposium Committee is now actively taking your
requests for : 

*	Ideas for classes you would like to see. 
*	Ideas for classes you would like to teach. 
*	Any other suggestions you would like to make. 
*	Ideas for trauma classes. 
*	Ideas for special considerations (neonatology, pediatrics,
geriatrics, etc.).
*	Ideas for classes leading to certification (such as ACLS, PALS, CPR
Recert).

If you are interested in submitting a proposal, the Symposium Committee will
need your idea(s).  Send your ideas and information to me and I will be sure
to forward them along to the rest of the group for consideration.  Please
remember that the committee receives hundreds of proposals to teach from all
over (VA, out of state & out of country).  It is a committee decision if you
or your idea is selected in the process. 
 
The symposium committee meets again in early December and we will need your
ideas and proposals before then, preferably in the next couple weeks.
 
The dates for the 2007 VA EMS Symposium are November 7-11, 2007.  The
symposium will again be held in Norfolk, VA at the Waterside Marriott Hotel.
