Disciplinary Action by EMS Agency OMDs	
	
During the October 19 meeting of the Medical Direction Committee, discussion
occurred regarding the EMS regulation that requires all EMS agency
Operational Medical Directors (OMDs) to notify the Office of Emergency
Medical Services whenever any disciplinary action is taken against a
certified EMS personnel.  EMS agencies and EMS Physicians should read the
memorandum from Michael D. Berg,  OEMS Regulation and Compliance Manager,
for more information on this issue.
